On our way to the station Yoko and I came across a shrine that was especially well hidden. We had to cross a railway track to get to it. When we had crossed over and Yoko saw the steps leading up to the shrine she did her usual thing and pretended that she had difficulty breathing so she couldnt climb it, but I didnt believe her and I dragged her up to the top. At first glance it seems like an ordinary shrine but there is a little path beside the building which goes even higher up the hill. I said hoorah and Yoko pretended she had hurt her leg so I dragged her up further.
At the top there was a kind of stone monument. Yoko had a look and it turned out that it was actually the spirit of Ishizuchi mountain!! I dont know how it got up there!! Anyway I decided it was important that I know where it is and I told Yoko "If ever we are climbing Mount Ishizuchi together and you slip and you are hanging from the cliff from a vine, I promise I`ll drop everything I`m doing and run as fast as I can to the Ishizuchi spirit shrine and pray for you!!"
By the way, if anyone knows the name of this shrine please let us know because we couldnt find it anywhere.
